Allison is amazing!! We originally had a family member planned as our photographer for our wedding but had to change plans with COVID last minute. Allison was more than accommodating and made sure that we still had an amazing experience! She put us so at ease during both the engagement and wedding shoots - and it shows in the pictures! The pictures themselves are amazing.
We got back hundreds of pictures back and Allison (and her second shooter) captured every moment perfectly.Allison truly brings magic into every photo she takes. There is no way to fully capture in words how amazing it was working with Allison. Finding a wedding photographer to capture our wedding that wasn't too posed or edited was our goal, and Allison truly delivered. She was able to capture the pure emotion and grab the light in a way that makes every photo so spectacular.
My husband and I are both a bit camera shy and Allison made us feel so comfortable and stress-free throughout the entire process. She was not just our wedding photographer, she was above and beyond that, helping my husband and I enjoy the day with encouraging words the entire time. Our wedding was in January and we still can't get over how much we love every single shot. She was exceptional in her attention to detail and accommodating the vision we wanted for not only our wedding but our engagement and rehearsal photos. Allison checked in with us frequently leading up to our big day and was easy to work with. At each photoshoot, she took our instruction and then directed us to manifest absolute stunning photos. There are truly no words to describe just how special it was to have Allison capture our wedding day. We told our planner we wanted lightly edited, timeless photos and Allison truly delivered. We haven’t even received all of our photos but between her blog post of our day and our engagement photos we have been receiving so many compliments of how she truly was able to capture the atmosphere and all of the love that was in the room at our wedding. My husband and I were so nervous about photos as we rarely take them but Allison made us feel so comfortable - she is fun, easy-going and the type of person that makes you feel like you have known her for years. Allison photographed my wedding at Middleton Place in the fall of 2018 and engagement pictures at Charles Towne Landing in February 2018. Her photos are beyond beautiful - she perfectly captures the moments, emotions, and expressions in natural, airy, and light photos. As soon as I saw examples of her work, I knew she was the photographer for us. Her photos are consistently breath taking. We basically told her right away that we'd love to have her work with us and we're so lucky she was able to! Our friends and family spent hours looking at the photos after the wedding and were so impressed. We're still getting compliments. Allison was quick to get the pictures to us too! She has the perfect eye for where we should stand for the best lighting and what poses to do. My husband and I aren't used to doing these things and Allison made it so easy and comfortable. I highly recommend doing an engagement shoot in advance to practice these poses. It'll be easy to remember which ones you like the most during the wedding! We selected Allison's longest package, ~9 hours, which was perfect for getting ready shots and the first look through the end of the wedding, when we had a sparklers exit. Allison is so talented and her photos are truly spectacular. She perfectly captured our wedding and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Allison was an amazing photographer! From the start working with her for our engagement shoot to the wedding day-of, she was easy and fun to work with! Due to the pandemic, we had to shift our wedding date back and opt for a smaller celebration. Not only was she flexible and accommodating (which really helped to reduce my stress), she truly captured the emotion, happiness, and intimacy of the day! The photos are stunning - she truly has an eye for lighting and locations!! Plus she makes you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. I feel so lucky to have had Allison behind the camera on my wedding day! I came across her portfolio while researching photographers and instantly fell in love with the creativity and talent that shines through in her pictures. Our introductory conversation confirmed that she was going to be perfect and my search for a photographer ended right there. In the months leading up to the wedding Allison was readily available to field questions and bounce ideas off of. As the days got closer and we started talking details, her experience became invaluable. From advice on how much time to set aside for photos, to how to order the pictures so that we were sure to get all the shots we wanted, Allison made us feel incredibly relaxed that everything was taken care of as we headed into the big day. We had a very tight timeline for pictures both before our daytime wedding and immediately following the ceremony. Through her professionalism and talent, Allison helped turn a time with the potential to be incredibly hectic run smoothly and efficiently. And now, the pictures: they were absolutely amazing! I was not really a fan of many of the wedding picture trends that are so popular now. I didn't want any jumping, hearts made with hands, or anything overly posed. I wanted her to capture special moments and candid pictures of all our friends and family being their amazing selves. The portraits and more formal pictures were perfectly done and absolutely beautiful but it was the candid shots from the reception that stole the show. While looking at the pictures we got to relive all the joy of the day through the laughter and happiness present on everyone's faces. She expertly captured all the perfect candid moments that I was hoping for. I absolutely wasn't surprised; during the wedding, every time something great was happening and I would think to myself, "this is great, I hope someone is taking a picture", I would turn slightly and find Allison, documenting everything. The wedding went by in a blur and I feel so lucky to be able to relive all the magic of the day through her photographs (which I should also note were perfectly edited and delivered just a few short weeks after the wedding). Allison was incredible and I could not recommend her highly enough. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had her as our wedding photographer!

Allison was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. Leading up to the wedding, she was responsive, organized, and very open to our ideas and requests.
On the day of the wedding, Allison arrived on time and was so upbeat and fun! She and her husband are really personable and made our more formal pictures comfortable and enjoyable. She also went along with our sillier requests (involving sunglasses and colorful socks), which we appreciated. Our bridal party repeatedly commented on how cool she was and how much fun they were having with the pictures!
Our fabulous experience with Allison was matched by the beautiful photos she produced. The pictures are gorgeous, and she got great shots of pretty much every special moment (both planned and unplanned) throughout the night. As we went through our wedding photos, my husband and I honestly felt like little kids opening presents on Christmas morning!
