How would you describe your work?

I love a light and bright, soft and sweet look to my photos. I want to capture the joy you feel on your wedding day in a simple and beautiful way. Most importantly, I want everyone I photograph to feel relaxed and enjoy the process. That will always make for the best pictures. While some direction and posing will be needed to get those gorgeous portraits, the majority of the day I just stand back and capture the moments that you  are creating. 

 

Can I give you a list of specific shots I want you to take?

While I certainly want to know which shots most catch your eye, I don't work off a specific list.  Every wedding is unique and things like the venue, surroundings, lighting, and even weather will vary from wedding to wedding. So to re-create a shot that you want may not be possible. And trying to get predetermined shots will take time away from getting really gorgeous shots that will be unique to you and your wedding!

 

How does the deposit and booking work?

In order for me to reserve the date of your wedding I require a 50% non-refundable deposit and signed contract. You can make a payment by check, PayPal, or Venmo.

 

How long will it take for my pictures to be ready?

Pictures are ready for viewing on the online album about 8-12 weeks after your wedding. 

 

Should we meet in person before I book you?

If at all possible, yes! I love to meet with my bride and groom to make a personal connection before I am a part of one of the biggest days of your lives! However, depending on where you live I realize that it may not be possible. In that case meeting in person is not required. We can talk over the phone or even set up a Zoom or FaceTime meeting! I offer a complimentary engagement session for all the brides and grooms that book me. It's a great way to get to know each other and feel comfortable working  together before the big day!

 

Do we get any rights to our pictures?

Yes. All my clients receive printing rights to all the images I give them. And you can post them on Facebook, Instagram or anything like that. I love that! However, those rights are for personal use only, not for profiting.

 

Do you work with a 2nd photographer?

Yes! I love having another photographer there with me to make sure you get as many gorgeous pictures as possible. That's why they are always included in the price.

Do you offer albums?

Yes I do! I offer two different options depending on your budget. Please inquire for more details.

What happens if there's an emergency and you can't shoot my wedding?

First of all, this has never happened before and I'm hoping it never will! But it's always good to be prepared. If this were to happen, I would be happy to try and find a replacement photographer that I know and trust to do a fantastic job. However, you will not be required to use someone I recommend. You are welcome to use another photographer if you prefer.
